Moda Morris Muse Jelly Roll
Moda Morris Muse Jelly Roll is printed cotton fabric.
A jelly roll is a versatile quilting material, ideal for creating intricate patchwork quilts, table runners, and various sewing projects with coordinated and precisely cut fabric strips.
A jelly roll contains forty pieces of fabric per pack, and each strip is 2.5 inches wide by 44 inches in length. Moda fabric ranges have up to forty different fabrics in a range, and there are forty pieces in a jelly roll. You will receive one of each fabric in a range; however, when a fabric range has fewer than forty fabrics, you will receive duplicates of some fabrics to make forty pieces in total.
Fabric designer Barbara Brackman created Morris Muse to honour the often-overlooked women of the Arts and Crafts movement, who contributed significantly to design but were rarely credited. Morris's wife, Jane Burden Morris and her daughter May were skilled artists and needleworkers who worked behind the scenes on masterpieces of Morris needlework. The collection reflects their influence through natural motifs and rich colour palettes inspired by their personal style and the interiors they helped shape.
