Elegant and soft metallic thread made from velvety spun rayon wrapped by an extra fine metallized foil. The blends of colour are outstanding and this voluminous thread lends itself to outlining and accent stitching in designs. It is exceptionally gentle on the skin and a wonderful complement to fashion and home decoration. Thread composition: 80% viscose, 20% metallised polyester.Â
The thread is perfect for machine embroidery and runs smoothly through machines without snagging. It's a medium-weight thread that works beautifully for decorative stitching, and you can even blend it with stranded embroidery floss for hand-work projects.
For best results, use a metallic needle to prevent thread breakage and skipped stitches. The thread is machine washable at temperatures up to 60°C, tumble-dry and iron safe on a cool setting. Can be dry cleaned. Avoid using bleach to maintain the metallic finish.
