Gunold FILMOPLAST® Self Adhesive Embroidery Backing

Gunold FILMOPLAST® is a versatile, self-adhesive stabiliser ideal for delicate, stretch, or hard-to-hoop fabrics. Only the FILMOPLAST® is hooped. Fabric is then pressed onto the sticky surface, preventing frame marks and reducing setup time.

Perfect for embroidering items like T-shirts, velvet, fleece, ribbons, collars and even caps without a special frame. It supports precise stitching, improves quality on stretchy materials.

Perfect for:

• Stabilising stretch fabrics (e.g., T-shirts, polo shirts, elastane blends)
• Delicate materials prone to hoop marks (e.g., velvet, fleece, dark fabrics)
• Hard-to-hoop areas (e.g., collars, cuffs, pockets, ribbons, caps)
• Accurate stitching on small or intricate designs

How to Use:

• Hoop FILMOPLAST® (printed side up).
• Score and peel the masking paper to expose the adhesive.
• Smooth fabric onto the sticky surface and begin embroidery.
• Tear away FILMOPLAST® after stitching.

Sold by the 1/4 metre. Multiple units will be sent in one continuous piece (e.g. 4 x 1/4 metre = 1 metre length).
